You should try hiking in marked nature trails, of which Ilomantsi has more than 220 km to offer. There are various trails, which all are surrounded by breathtaking views. The lean-to’s and small cottages by the trails are available for all hikers, and you can stay there also overnight, or reserve a trip to somewhere else than a marked trail.
